Captain a pirate ship you can walk from bow to stern, then storm islands held by the dead, alone or with a crew of friends.

Raise the sails. Run out the guns. Go ashore with a saber in your hand and take the gold the dead won’t give up.
Fortune’s Wake is a first-person pirate adventure where your ship is yours down to the last plank. Captain her alone or fill her decks with friends, and set a course for islands where something is waiting in the sand.
There’s no menu between you and the sea. You take the helm. You set the sails. You run to the guns when an enemy closes in. And when a ball smashes through the hull, you’re the one below decks with a plank, racing the water.
Start in a quick little pinnace and work your way up to the gun decks of a 48-gun frigate. Lose her, and the voyage isn’t over: pay the shipwright, relaunch her and get back out there.
Line up the broadside and let it fly. Round shot to break her hull, grape to clear her deck, fireballs to set her burning while her crew fights the flames. Send her to the bottom, and her treasure might come bobbing back up for the taking.
Drop anchor and the battle comes to you. Cross blades with the dead on the beach, blast them apart with pistol and blunderbuss, or call down lightning from a staff. They come in hordes, and at the top of the mountain the Stone King is waiting.
Every fight sharpens the skills you use and unlocks new moves. Play together, and everyone gets their own loot.
Every new voyage brings new drift isles over the horizon, each with fresh treasure and fresh guards. Push out from the Home Waters into the jungles of the Green Isles and the volcanic Burning Belt. Brave the storm or run from it. Douse the lanterns at night and slip through the dark. Then sail home to port, spend your plunder and go again.
The island demo is a complete chapter, from sea to summit and back. Silence Thunderfall’s sea batteries, drop anchor in the bay and wade ashore as a drowned crew claws its way out of the sand. Fight up the Great Stair, break the Stone King and crack open his vault.
Then comes the hard part: getting the gold home, with the dead awake behind you and a rival brig coming for your hoard.
